Switching to Standard HAL - ABIT VT7 (Posted by: didhep, Tue, 21 Apr, 2009 14:08:00)
I want to change from APCI HAL to standard HAL because of resource conflict issues,i.e. AGP conflict with PCI card. Currently, I cannot install Win XP as standard HAL as it does not give me that option in the installation process. Is there any firmware I can use to make the BIOS/ Windows allow standard HAL?
